I finished from Secondary school early, but my father did not allow me enter the University until I was twenty-two.

He said a nineteen year old girl does not have enough experience to be on her own so my siblings and I all waited till we were in our twenties before we got admission.

I read Mass Communication at the University and graduated with a Second Class Upper at the age of twenty-five. I went for service (NYSC) immediately and I finished at twenty-six. I traveled back to my home in Ibadan and I was there, a single girl, no house of her own, living with my parents for TEN SOLID YEARS – Ten Years of HELL!

Heaven turned my story to glory when I got married at the age of 35. At my wedding, everybody cried when I shared the testimony. For good ten years, I was at home with my parents while several of my friends who were not as pretty, intelligent or Godly as I was got married.

In one particular year, I was Chief Brides-maid to six of my friends. At the wedding of the last one, a mutual friend of ours worked up to me and he said “Nike. This is the sixth wedding I am seeing you as Chief Brides-maid. Shey na so you go dey assist all your friends to marry, meanwhile you no even get boyfriend!”

Right there in his front, I broke down in tears and although he meant it as a joke and tried to console me, I could not stop the tears. I missed the reception of that wedding because I went home to cry. I cried from afternoon till the next morning and when my Mum saw me that day, she rushed me to a hospital thinking I was going to die.

Truth be told, I wanted to die because the pain of watching your classmates, friends, colleagues, getting married, bearing children and even going abroad was just too painful to bare. That year, I decided never to attend any more weddings until I did my own.

After that, I vowed to my God, ‘Lord, I will not open my legs for any man, until you bring the Chosen one.’

The fact is, I had dated a lot of men before, but many of them were deceivers who just wanted to get into my pants. The few who were serious for marriage suddenly changed their minds in the last minutes. I even had an abortion for one of these serious ones and I almost died during the process.

I started to see the secret steps these women took that turned their lives around and got them married to the greatest men of their time.

I went up to the mountain to pray and fast for 3 days and within that period, my eyes were opened to three ladies in the Bible. They were of marry-age but were not yet married. They waited for a while and later, they got their husbands. These women are Rebekah, Rachel and Ruth. I studied their stories so deeply, I began to see things I had never seen before.

From the stories of these three women, I developed Seven Powerful Steps to get married. I decided right there in my heart that I will apply these Seven steps and before the end of that year, I will be married. Six months later, I tied the knots with one of the greatest men of our time. He is a God-sent, a highly intelligent being and a man of God to the core.

At first I thought these seven steps worked for only me, but then, my younger sister came into the scene. She was turning thirty two in 2017 and there was no husband in sight. She called me and I told her about the Seven Steps. I told her how they helped me get my husband and instructed her on how to prayerfully use them.

I taught her the Steps in March 2021, she was married September of that same year. Now with her husband, they two have kids and expecting the third.

I started teaching about these Seven Powerful Steps in my Church two years ago and there have been more than 50 Miracle Marriages.
